Very well, don't think about it if you need it. In a matter of seconds, you magnetize the screwdriver, unscrew it so easily and you put it back in. It magnetizes so well that even the big screw doesn't fall off the screwdriver. And then demagnetizes it back to normal, and all the magnet properties are gone.
